RAWR; we speak dinosaur
Monday, July 26, 2010
Hope to carry on;
Helloo helloo there! :) I'm not surprised if not many people will read this post, after all, I haven't updated since January. I guess all that stuff I learn in ICT (about how to maintain a website) never really got into my head :D If you're wondering, why the sudden urge to blog again? I'll tell you it's because some really supportive people (you know who you guys are) have been motivating me to write once more. And it's a great feeling to type on blogger again, it really is. Thank you, people :)
After the lack of blogging for a couple of months, I think I've lost the ability to think of topics to blog about. So I shall just highlight the events and most happening things that have happened in the past few, hours, days, weeks, months, and more months ;) Well, I don't really have much to say about the FIFA world cup since everyone prolly knows what happened and who won, etc. But I can't help myself in NOT mentioning about Brazil and Argentina. I'm pretty sure one of them will make it into the Finals in the next one! :) No harm predicting the future, hehe :D
Speaking of finals, my final exams just ended about 2 to 3 weeks ago. Which means that I've been enjoying and relaxing for the past 3 weeks :) And now, I'm enjoying myself even further because the summer holidays are here! Whoopeeddooo :) If only everyone could wish for a summer holiday anytime they feel over-stressed with homework and projects. That'd be really cool, maybe it'll become a law next time :) Day dreaming and wishing sure can make ones hopes rise to cloud nine. I've always wondered why they call it cloud nine, I thought it's a chocolate :) Now I've got myself thinking about food again. *sighs satisfactorily*
I never realized how fun it is to sync music into my iPod :) It brings me joy to see more and more music pouring into the music folders. Perhaps I've been in a very musical mode recently. So as I was going through my songs, I discovered a band that I haven't been listening to for quite a while. Clicking on the play button was one of the best decisions I made today, for the song that played really suited me today. Not that the song has any relevance to my day, just that the tune cheered me up :) Hehe.
Well, I'll end here for now :) Perhaps I'll update again soon. Perhaps.
Lotsa love.

Many the miles;
After much trial and error, my sis and I finally managed to solve the Nancy Drew case; The Phantom of Venice. *sighs satisfactorily* It's a pity when it ends, sometimes in the midst of the fun parts you wish it could go on forever. And yet when it reaches the brain-crackers you wish it'd have already ended. Hmmm :)
Now we've moved on to another case, Nancy Drew; Ransom of the Seven Ships :D The catch is; dive into danger in the hunt for lost treasure. Sounds interesting to me!
Simultaneously found this picture hidden somewhere, I've always wanted to capture a shot like this;
And thanks to Sandralee, I'm starting to enjoy GLEE :) Well, the songs. And hopefully soon I'll get to watch GLEE, though I'm not sure how yet. Hmmm :/
Oohh, I'm starting to like Glee :) I just need to find a source to watch from. Hehee.Oh, remember those walls I built
Well baby they're tumbling down
They didn't even put up a fight
They didn't even make a soundIt's like I've been awakened
Every rule I had you breaking
It's the risk that I'm taking
I ain't never gonna shut you outEverywhere I'm looking now
I'm surrounded by your embrace
Baby I can see your halo
You know you're my saving grace
(I'm walking on sunshine)You're everything I need and more
(Whoa oh)
It's written all over your face
(I'm walking on sunshine)
Baby I can feel your halo
(Whoa oh)And don't it feel good!
Halo, halo, halo
I can see your halo, halo, halo
I can feel your halo, halo, halo
(I'm walking on sunshine)
I can see your halo, halo, halo
(Whoa)
And don't it feel good!I used to think maybe you loved me, now baby I'm sure
And I just can't wait till the day when you knock on my doorOh now now!
I'm walking on sunshine, whoa oh!
I'm walking on sunshine, whoa oh!
I'm walking on sunshine, whoa oh oh!
And don't it feel good!I can feel your halo, halo, halo
(Hey, alright now)
I can feel your halo, halo, I can see your
(Hey, oh yeah)
I can feel your halo, halo
(Hey, Halo)
I can feel your halo, halo
(Hey)
I can see your halo, halo
(Halo)
I can see your halo
Halo!
Will update again soon!

One step closer;
It's been a great 2009;
And I hope all of you'll have a great, and blessed year ahead of you :)
Thursday, December 31, 2009
A movie script ending;
It's 10 hours and 45 minutes till 2010
and I can imagine that everyone else is thinking the same thing too, at the moment :) After all, who knew that time passes by in such a jiffy. Overall, I think 2009 and 2008 passed by the fastest. 2007 was pretty, slow :/ I wonder why, perhaps it was just the clock.
So I wish everyone a Happy early New Year, one filled with new things to discover and lots more to uncover :) As well as a blessed one too.
And to all those who have made 2009 an enjoyable and meaningful one to me, thank you :) As well as those who have taught me many new things and pushed me hard enough to understand :D
.
I have to admit that I feel rather sad to leave one year behind and move on to another. Just one step closer to being 14. Not that all this while, day after day I wasn't one step closer. But I just never really realized it till I reached the last day of 2009 and the thought just hit me on the head :) It's not a bad thing, though I think most people miss their childhood days once they reach being an adult and will have to find a job, work hard, provide for themselves and maybe next time a family as well :) *sigh*
So I'm enjoying every bit of my childhood and storing them in my memories like how a younger kid savors every burst of flavour in a lollipop and keeps them stored in his taste buds ;)
But everyone should enjoy their life, whether young or old :) So Happy 2010 to all!
I enjoyed decorating my daddy's office yesterday :) Especially blowing the balloons. They sure take your breath away - literally. But it's pretty scary when you're about to blow more air into it but instead it blows more air down your oesophagus and right down to the belly ;)
But it's still pretty amusing. At least it gives us strong lungs :D
I think I'll cut it short and end here. I know my blog is dying every week, less and less updates. Perhaps I should get a daily blog reminder ;) Well, once again, Happy New Year and have a jolly and meaningful one :)

This Is Home;
I've got my memories
Always inside of me
But I can't go back
Back to how it was
I believe you now
I've come too far
No I can't go back
Back to how it wasCreated for a place I've never known
[Chorus]
This is home
Now I'm finally where I belong
Where I Belong
Yeah, this is home
I've been searching for a place of my own
Now I've found it
Maybe this is home
This is homeBelief over misery
I've seen the enemy
And I won't go back
Back to how it was
And I got my heart set on what happens next
I got my eyes wide it's not over yet
We are miracles and we're not alone[Chorus]
And now after all my searching
After all my questions
I'm gonna call it home
I've got a brand new mindset
I can finally see the sunset
I'm gonna call it home[Chorus]
Now I know
Yeah, this is home
I've come too far
And I won't go back
Yeah, this is home

Merry Christmas;

Luke 2:11
"Today in the town of David
a Savior has been born to you:
he is Christ the Lord."
Luke 1:14
And you will have joy and gladness,
and many will rejoice at his birth.
Have a blessed Christmas :)

Let's see,
TRANQUILRendezvous;
rendezvousing present participle; rendezvoused past tense, past participle
1. A rendezvous is a meeting, often a secret one, that you have arranged with someone for a particular time and place.
I used to pronounce it as 'ren-des-vez', but the actual pronounciation is 'ron-deh-voo' :) Credits to Naruto for teaching me a new word ;) I do learn something new from it.
.
I have a whole lot more to say, after all, I haven't updated in ages :) Ages meaning a week. I'll just keep it a simple. Most of you'd know how simple my posts can be. So, for the past two weeks I have gone for an outing with friends at 1 Utama, and I found out what Dream World was. It's that place where they have lots of colourful photo booths where you can decorate your pictures after that :) It's pretty fun, come to think of it.
Soon enough it was the last day of school (Spirit Day), though I have absolutely no idea why they call it that. Either they mean the students are full of spirit on the last day of school or it's the other meaning, you know. Back to the point, Spirit Day was tiring, and full of action. There was hide n' seek, firstly. Though I couldn't find a proper hiding spot. Perhaps I should've tried hiding behind a tree like everyone else instead of running out into the open :) Hehee. Then there was Dodgeball. The game itself, not the movie :D I lost one shoe sole and broke both the paddings in one day, wow. Strangely enough, I never realized it till I heard some flapping noises coming from them ;) So to wrap it up, there was the school party. Mmhmmm...food :d I enjoyed the cupcake very much, thank you Josey :) Hehe. But it was also a sad day for all of us :( Two very special people, Yuen Yee and Cassie left school and are heading off to Aussie. Well, if you both read this, I hope you'll both enjoy yourselves there and keep in touch! We're all gonna miss you :) Do take care!
Then, the holidays started and it got pretty quiet after a while. All the excitement has died down and I'm running out of things to entertain myself with, besides Naruto, Facebook, Naruto, Facebook and Naruto again ;) I'm cutting down, trust me. Hehe. But, I musn't forget that a special person's special b/day was coming up. Just yesterday, my sis threw her 20th La Hanau :) It was a blast I must say. I never realized how much the atmosphere can change when there's almost 50 people walking around with leis and head garlands. And don't forget the hawaiian-ish music playing outside. That kicked up the mood by x 10 :D The photos will be up soon I hope, that's if Ko-ko Adrian manages to upload those hundreds of photos he took, thanks very much Adrian :)
So I'll take this time to wish the two very important people in my lives a early Happy Birthday? :) Juen Nin and Sandra Lee, you two mean the world to me, Happy be-early Birthday! I hope you'll both read this on the day itself and not one day earlier. (They're b/days on the 8th fyi)
Juen Nin, thanks for being a one-of-a-kind sister to me. I don't think I could've asked for a better one anytime :) So I hope you'll love the gift you get it tomorrow. I'm writing this just incase I run out of words to describe myself to you tomorrow morning, so you can read this as an extra birthday e-Card ;)
Sandra Lee, you awesome possum friend :) Thanks for being the 'rainbow that guards the city below' all this while yea? Hehe. I can't exactly find the words to describe you 'cause there's absolutely too many. But I can promise you they're all the sugar, spice and everything nice; like what Professor Utonium added to his mixture yes? :) Haha, enjoy your b/day pal!
.
I'll be leaving for Taiwan tomorrow morning. Well it's supposed to be Taiwan. But there'll be some flight transitions and all, so my first flight'll be to Hong Kong, then to Taiwan. Stay there a couple of days then head back to Hong Kong. Stay there for a while and say hi to Mickey Mouse and his Clubhouse, then back here to home sweet home. I'm looking forward to the last part of my description, even before I've started the journey :/ Must be those butterflies working up late in that bloated stomach down there *pats stomach in satisfaction*. The leftovers from last night's buffet was enough to fill me for two whole days, but they were all stuffed down at dinner time :D Hehe. Do pray that I won't get too nauseous on the plane and that hopefully I might even enjoy it (I highly doubt that though). So I bid you all a good nights rest and for those who are going to YF camp, enjoy yourselves :) Save me some marshmallows, if there are any.
*waves hysterically* Nite y'all :)
P/s; this post is updated tonight, all thanks to Josey :) For being such a supportive reader and always checks my blog and reminds me that I haven't updated in a while. Hehe, thank yous! And you're right, piano covers are lovely. Have a good time in HK and China and hopefully we'll bump into each other at HK. :) Ily.

How Many Kings;
Heard this song in Church today? :) Made me shed some tears, haven't heard such a meaningful song in a while. Hope you'll all enjoy it as much as I did.
Love.

Anime style;
I always wanted a drawing of me, anime style. I finally got one, thanks to the Math results :) Math does have some advantages after all, and I guess everyone got a good outcome from learning pies and radius.
It was pappa's birthday on Tuesday, and there's your reason for me not updating ;) After all, his birthday was a whole lot more important. Though the cheesecake didn't turn out quite as I expected, but it was tolerable. Everything needs a first time :D And it came along with strawberries and blueberries for deco. One thing I learned about strawberries, never leave them in a fridge, on a cheesecake for too long, it gets rather soft and jelly-ish.
There's so much to plan this end November and December. So packed full with arrangements, presents, birthdays, Christmas, holidays, etc. Life is difficult at times.
I think I'll stop here, one more thing. The character parade today was interesting. I liked 'Jack and the Beanstalk' best :) Yuen Yee deserved it. It was a creative idea, who would've thought of sticking paper leaves on one's self? I think it's pure genius.
G'nite.
P/s; I'm still hoping it'll work out tomorrow. Eventhough it's already 11:33 PM. Miracles do happen :)

Dance and jump to your hearts content;

There's too many to label :) But well, these are almost all the Year 8 girls, almost.

Blue Sharks! :)
The March Past; we're all waving balloons! Can you spot me? I'm the girl with the blue balloon in my hand, in the second row from the left, on my left is a dude and on my right is a dudette. And I'm the second last in line :) I'm sure you can spot me.
Zoey Lim :) or should I say Zoeylicious, the secret specialty in making all the poems work out? *hint hint* (Read previous posts to see her talent)
The lovely Fatima :) She's also known as (to me) the professional high-jumper who can make it look so easy?
From the left : Zoey Lim, Joanne Lim, Jessie, Emily Chang and moi :) This picture holds the potential to be the next display picture ;)There should've been more pictures if only I had took the initiative to bring a camera *makes the unhappy face*. Credits to Natalie Ki for the pictures :)

Knock knock. Who's there? Amanda. Amanda who? Amanda Hollow :) Okay, I tell pretty lame jokes. Most of you know that about me by now, I tell lame but funny jokes. For example, what do lame people drink? Lamenade :) Get it? Like Lemonade...*laughs at her own joke*.
This is Amanda, the crazy-fun girl who came home with me last, last Friday. Just look at her, it spells out : F-U-N right in the middle.

And the bird flew away :) I'm surprised I could understand what it said anyway.
When we look through the photograph albums or reminisce with friends we feel nostalgic for the past. Photograph albums tend to be full of people laughing, having fun and enjoying themselves. The times of difficulty and sadness have been edited out - we don't tend to take pictures of these! This is what sometimes gives the past its rosy hue :)
The past is part of what has made you who you are and it is worth reflecting on and remembering, but the present is what you are living in now and must make the most of! A bit of nostalgia goes a long way.
Nostalgia can also be for the people we once were - the innocence of childhood or the energy of youth. Every season of life presents us with new opportunities and things to learn and appreciate.
I'm so nostalgic! It seem ages ago since I've actually had a nostalgia. I suppose it happens everytime you miss something wonderful that happened in the past. I sure miss my baby years, as well as some of my primary years when everyone was so gullible (including me) and innocent, and the world seemed so BIG and we were just little earthlings in one small part of the huge Mother Earth :/ What more, when you keep moving school a couple of times, you tend to get nostalgia more. I mean, just when you're about to have some savouring memories, it gets cut short and you have to start all over again. It's nice to start over, the anticipation, the anxiety, the excitement of meeting new people and making new friends. But when you start to look through your photo albums or pictures or etc, etc; I'm sure everyone tries to hold back some crooked smiles and bursting laughs.
Though I'm pretty sure this is gonna be one of the last times I'll ever get caught in one again!
Interact Night is in, 2 days everyone! :) I can't hold back my smiles this time, I'm bursting with excitement. Well, kinda. I'll update some interesting pictures up next (minus Singapore, I'm not sure how long I'm going to postpone THAT). And of course there'll be some even more interesting photos on Interact Night next Tuesday.
Give me an L, O, V and E to complete this sentence, you just did :)

You kept me for breakfast :d
I'm going to give up posting up the Singapore pics, I've been promising that in 3 posts already and I still have yet to do so. I should probably just speak what the outcome that would most possibly happen and not the other way round :)
So here are some updates on what's happening in and out of school;
- Interact Night is in 7 days :) I will tell all of you frankly, I've never been to a "night out" before. If you know what I mean, like dances and stuff :D But I guess I'll be trying this one out for the very first time, and you have absolutely no idea how excited I am :)
- Interact Week is up next week. Interact club will be selling 4 different coloured ribbons; blue, green, red and yellow, each symbolizing different charities, etc. :) I'll prolly try to buy all four, that's if I can.
- I've been smelling mangoes in the house this whole week.
- I got FACEBOOK! :)
- Doing high jump for Sports Day.
- I named my pet in Pet Society, ProCon :)
- Math Test tmrw, let's do the math!
- The anenometer is soaked from the rain, but yet it's still spinning and catching the wind speed.
- Amanda and Cassie are coming over next friday for a day, then we're heading for Interact Night together! Woootttss.
- Captainball on Saturday please?
That'll be my update for this week :) Next week will be a slightly more promising post, kaythankslater :)

My net buddies;
Facebook helps you connect and share with the people in your life.
I finally got facebook, after what seemed like many years, I finally did get it. I suppose it's pretty much what I expected :) A place where you connect and share with the people in your life, quote unquote Facebook. Facebook is probably the most visited web page now on this computer, the first html code that I click once I go on the internet :)
I don't think I got facebook before this 'cause I wasn't interested, I wasn't exactly huffing and puffing all over it, I was pretty contented with Twitter and Msn for the time being, but I guess when I got the chance to; I thought of giving it a go. And whaddya know? It actually worked out :)
Some of you might say : Obviously *sweat face*
Some might say : Good for you! About time too :)
And I'll move on to,
TWITTER;
Twitter is without a doubt the best way to share and discover what is happening right now.
Yes :) Indeed it is true! Twitter has been my loyal up-to-date friend all this while, updating me on what's happening with who and what. It's useful at times, but some people consider it stalking. Hmmmm. As long as you don't use it for that purpose, Twitter is pretty much just for communication reasons :) The disadvantage : you can only type 140 characters whereas in Facebook you can type 2 million, *laughs to self*
PLURK;
A social journal for you life
Okay, plurk is no longer on my 'got to visit' list nemore :) Infact, I haven't touched it in a while. Hehe.
Last but not least,
MSN;
has been the most loyal of all :) Getting it since I was the small 8 till the not so big 13, it has remained the BEST chat spot for me ever. It never fails to let me keep in touch with long lost friends and those who still remain constantly with me :)
Only one thing, I keep getting disconnected, but even then it's not MSN's fault. Thanks to my super 'lauyah' internet connection, MSN doesn't work as well as it should. But eitherways MSN remains the best :)
That's pretty much my update, Singapore pictures up next.

A week of summer weather;
On Monday up in the open sky,
The bright sun rises up so high.
Tuesday's the day we slurp our smoothies,
And make sure we wear our sunnies.
On Wednesday we play summer games,
And we; best friends dress up the same!
Thursday we made ice cream,
And gave some to the boys on the football team.
Friday's heat gave us sun burn,
So mum taught us a lesson that we learned.
Saturday we went to the pool,
And it so happened to make us cool.
Summer ended on a Sunday,
And we hope it will soon come our way.
Originally written by Zoey and Huey Nin :)
If you actually counted, each and every sentence is 17 syllables long, hehehe.
And here's one I wrote myself about the four seasons in the year;
Spring's the time of the year,
When all things cheer.
Everyone wakes up with a happy heart,
And makes sure the windows aren't shut.
Summer's when we head out to play,
Fortunately it's still only May.
I grab my lunch box and a popsicle,
And start to sort my mind that's fickled.
Autumn isn't what it may seem,
The leaves are falling and aren'ts as green.
I grab my broom and start to sweep,
Hopefully the wind won't blow my heap.
Winter makes my nose go blue,
And I start to get a very bad flu.
The minute I can jump out of bed,
I go the garage and get my sledge.
All this poetry is starting to make me wonder if I'd much rather be a poet, than a philosopher; /writer :) *scratches scalp*
And yes, I'm back from Singapore, the place for shopaholics to shop to their hearts content. Though I'm not one of them, I think. Pictures of Singapore will be up in the next post, hopefully.
Bye :)

The window panes say;
Leaving for Singapore this Friday, morning, 10 am, Air Asia, coming back on Sunday, probably going to the Night Safari on Friday night, etc. The only reason why I'm stating all these facts it because; it just happened to turn out that Richard is going for exactly the same flight, same day, same day coming home and most probably even the same places. I would call that perfect coincidence ;)
So far the week has been pretty good, swimming wasn't too bad. At least I didn't drown this time, but I still barely know how to do free-style properly. These silly legs of mine won't kick out of the water, whereas my head is most happy to pop out at the most inappropriate time. But it was a good experience, at least I'm getting a hang at it. Compared to the previous case of the Guinness World Record of bad swimming, I have improved a little :) I'm satisfied, hopefully one day I'll end up being able to make it across the entire stretch of chlorine without a board and with my legs kicking properly.
I'll be off to bed now, perhaps I'll update somemore tomorrow, since I didn't exactly get to blog very much ;)
Love.

Out of the million languages;
There's only 21 more hours for you to vote on the G. I. Joe vs. Transformers poll. If you would like to change your vote or just vote; do it pronto :) Time waits for no man.
I'm feeling ecstatic. Feeling ecstatic is to be 'on top of the world, looking down on creation' as the song goes. We have achieved something sensational. A puzzle piece has fallen into place. What we have really wanted has happened. Good news has been heard. Feeling ecstatic is catching. We can spread our joy and excitement to others or share in theirs.

A cup of tea;
End of the avoid evil photos :)
And here are another two people who are the Cheer You Up people :) P/s; Cheer You Up is a shirt, or a design for a shirt, something like that :) Credits to tammyho and her camera for the pictures, and Li Ann as well for taking them and not being inside them *scratches scalp* :)
And the two very good buddies, Deb and Tammy :)
That ends my post today everyone, hope you enjoyed looking at the pictures, and imagined yourself inside them :)
G'nite.
